Do you have a prefered name/nickname and pronouns? What?
Chloé is fine and my pronouns are they/them!
What was the most memorable experience you had in Barcelona?
My most memorable experiences here in Barcelona were when I went out for the first time with the rest of the students for drinks at selene and then it became a weekly thing. Next for sure was the photo book workshop, where I worked with my wife and two other wonderful students for the first time, Doğa and Andrés, which then was actually published and brought to a photo fair! Lastly definitely celebrating pride here.
What’s next for you?
Next I start my 6 month internship with Folch Studio in their Digital Strategy team. I plan to stay here in Barcelona for the next year and see what comes my way. I will take more Spanish classes, as well as practice roller skating by the W hotel until I can serve like an old fashion waitress in the diners.
What do you need in your working space?
When I work I definitely enjoy having background noise, whether it is music, or opening the window to hear the city alive or even just a good anime show. I also enjoy something to boost me creatively, like a joint or good coffee really helps the process be more interesting and exciting for me. Oh and my glasses! Otherwise, with all this screen time, I'll be blind by thirty.
If you weren’t a designer what would you be?
I would definitely either be a neonatologist, a landscape gardener, or an entertainer like and actor/actress.
Who do you look up to or where do you find inspiration?
I look up to all individuals who have the courage to be exactly who they want to be. Specifically the lgbtqai+ community world wide. I find my inspiration in the outside world walking around thinking, trying to look beyond what's man made and questioning everything we know, oh and especially reading about other cultures and anything that questions what's set in stone.
What is your favorite midnight snack?
My favourite midnight snack would either be small white cocktail onions, fruit, or cereal.
